Do I need to book movers in advance in Victoria?

Yes, TruckNaGuy is fully licensed and insured. We carry comprehensive liability insurance to protect your property and belongings, plus full WorkSafeBC coverage for our team. You can have complete peace of mind knowing you're working with a professionally insured moving company.
Can you move heavy items like pianos or safes?
Yes, we have experience moving heavy and specialty items including pianos, safes, hot tubs, and large appliances. Additional crew members may be required for very heavy items.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, e-transfer, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), and debit. Payment is due upon completion of the move.
Do you move between Vancouver Island and mainland?
Yes! We handle moves to/from the mainland via BC Ferries. We can coordinate ferry reservations and include travel time in our estimate.

How much does junk removal cost?
Junk removal costs $160/hour with a 2-hour minimum. Single items like a couch or fridge typically cost $320-400, garage cleanouts $480-800, and full house cleanouts $1,200-2,500+. We provide free estimates.
What can you remove for junk removal service?
We remove furniture, appliances, renovation debris, yard waste, electronics, and general household items. We cannot remove hazardous materials, medical waste, liquid waste, or firearms.
Do you recycle or donate items?
Yes! We divert 80%+ of items from landfills through recycling and donations to local charities like Habitat for Humanity and Salvation Army. Eco-friendly disposal is our priority.
Do I need to be home during junk removal?
Not necessarily. As long as items are accessible and we know what to take, you don't need to be present. Many customers leave keys or arrange access.
Can you remove items from upstairs or basement?
Absolutely! We handle items from any floor, including stairs, tight spaces, and difficult access points. Our team is experienced with challenging removals.
Is there a disposal fee on top of the hourly rate?
Disposal fees are included in our hourly rate for most items. Certain materials like mattresses, fridges, or construction debris may have additional disposal fees, which we'll communicate upfront.

How much does move-out cleaning cost?
Cleaning services cost $100/hour with a 2-hour minimum. Studio/1-bedroom apartments take 2-3 hours ($200-300), 2-bedroom units take 3-4 hours ($300-400), and 3-bedroom houses take 4-6 hours ($400-600).
Will cleaning help me get my damage deposit back?
Our professional move-out cleaning is designed to meet landlord requirements and pass inspections. We clean kitchens, bathrooms, floors, windows, and all areas according to standard move-out checklists.
Do you provide cleaning supplies?
Yes, all cleaning supplies and equipment are included in our hourly rate. We bring professional-grade cleaners, mops, vacuums, and everything needed.
Can you clean after renovation?
Yes! Post-renovation cleaning is one of our specialties. We remove construction dust, debris, and paint splatters to leave your space spotless.
Do you offer regular cleaning services?
